Great Aussie Holidays started in 1984 and is one of Australia’s largest independently owned tour wholesalers specialising in Australian holidays.

Our Credentials

Great Aussie Holidays was started in 1984 by Brian Bowater, an ex-Executive of the Western Australia Tourism Commission. Since then, Brian has welcomed a number of experienced travel professionals into the management team, most with up to 20 years experience specialising in Australian holidays.

Today we are fully automated with a brand new computerised reservations system QuickSmart. This System allows you to book and confirm the vast majority of our holiday product on line, without having to call us. It also allows you to book Virgin Blue flights around Australia live on line.

As a long serving member of the Australian Travel industry, Great Aussie Holidays Pty Ltd is fully licensed under Australian Travel Agents licensing regulations (License No. 9TA00271). We also work actively and in conjunction with various State tourism bodies to promote holidays to their own individual destinations.
